I left what I keep feeling was sort of a dickhead comment on a post here the other day; I haven’t entirely worked out why. In theory, I don’t really have a vested interest in Christianity being the one true path; in practice, every so often I say something that bespeaks a real concern that it is, and that it be recognized as such. It’s partly egotism (I want my religion to be right, apparently, even if I acknowledge that I have no strong argument that it is), but more than that I would guess insecurity: I really like thinking and writing about religion, specifically Christianity, but I am woefully bad at practicing Christianity. All of which is a long-winded way of saying: Sorry, Chris. That was a dickhead, trollish comment.
