Lady Gaga on SNL

I believe the mask is to keep people from poking 'er face..

You remember how in ’80s science-fiction-dystopia movies like The Running Man, they would sometimes show a Music Video From the Future, and it looked so goofy and ridonkulous that even as a sixth-grader, you would say to yourself, “God, the future is never going to look like that”?

Huh. Funny that you would say this because when I was watching it, I kinda sorta finally came around on her and said, “Hell, maybe she really IS some kind of visionary.”

I had had a bunch of wine, though…

No! I thought it was actually a kind of awesome performance — definitely a cut above most SNL musical guests. But it did remind me of The Running Man, nonetheless.

I thought they were both pretty good! And she certainly did a helluva job pandering to the audience in the second one.

Also, I liked The Running Man movie, I did. But there’s still a bit of… I dunno, resentment, or something that I feel that it is NOT AT ALL like the Bachman story! Which I really liked.

Also also, they should make a movie out of The Long Walk. That is all.

FYI You’re not allowed to think she’s cool until I do, and I don’t.
