Heeeeyyyy, buddy…
Friday, 2 October 2009So, I’m doing NaNoWriMo this year. (That’s National Novel Writing Month for those of you who are not in the know.) Anybody wanna be my writing buddy? Over the course of thirty days, we will urge each other on, through tears and smiles and hangovers, until both of us have completed at minimum a 50,000-word narrative with a beginning, middle, and end. More details here. And if more than one of my five or so readers is interested, we can form a group! It’ll be just like the Al Sharpton Round Table.
Well, look. I’m halfway through a novel that desperately needs finishing. I imagine that the practice of writing a new one and finishing an old one is largely the same–I will participate in this, if you will let me.
